This course provides professionals with a clear understanding of what constructive resettlement entails and the practical tools needed to overcome these challenges. The training explores how Release on Temporary Licence (ROTL) and Supported Prison Leave (SPL) can be used strategically to support resettlement goals\, while also addressing common obstacles such as risk aversion\, inconsistent decision-making\, and limited inter-agency coordination. Participants will examine policy frameworks\, explore the principles behind constructive resettlement\, and develop advocacy skills to better support the young people they work with.
